I am veiled within this night
safe and secure knowing no one is in sight.
I walk within the pouring rain
My heart sinking in sorrow, nothing to gain
no longer thinking about tomorrow.
My heart no longer warm, is a winter desolation.

The sky ablaze with fiery talon's, that seem to seek!
I gaze in wonder, the rain cascades, blending with my tears
for a while my vision blur's, I stumble, and fall to my knee's.
Ancient rock's loom before me, majestic within this obsidian night
I ascend, stone ice-cold to my skin, as is my heart.

Reaching the crest, I look upon your ashes
and lift them to the fiery sky
and set you free upon the winds, never apart.
you were my life, the sun and moon, you are set within my heart
till the end of time.
