Questions -o- by Dennis.L. Vasey

Who says the moon will shine tonight?
To shed it's pale unearthly light
How long will it last this earth where we live?
Have we gone too far, will he ever forgive?

Who knows what to-morrows day will bring?
Is it then that the birds will cease to sing?
The green velvet valleys, the far distant hill,
Will we lose them forever, when this world is still?

The laughter of children, that echo's through time
Is likened to bells, that no longer chime
The sweet, salt, taste of our hopes and fears
Will we remember them, through all the years?

Who will quell the oceans roar?
Shall majestic mountains soar?
The soft summer breeze that stairs the soul
While we with pious platitudes console

When we look back will it be with regret?
The things we have done, will we ever forget?
The people we love, will they all be gone?
And what are we faced with,...Oblivion?

BEWARE..my brothers, and sisters
There is but little time left to borrow
Yes, the moon may shine to-night
But will the sun rise to-morrow?
