I See A Rainbow -o- by Willow

Soft summer rain falls gently upon
my upturned face.
I smile in wonder, as I see a rainbow rise
above the swirling stream.
An ocean of green in the background as the breeze
ripples through the trees
causing the leaves to whisper and shimmer.

I raise my arms and slowly begin to dance with joy
as I behold the Swallow's, soaring high
through the rainbow, angels of the sky
flying high within a rhythm of their own.
A medley of natures magic, I dance enchanted
at the splendour laid before me!

Ducks glide upon the river, fish flash silver and gold,
frogs, hidden among the reed's, leaves and stones.
A flock of willow tits dart from tree to tree.
The air is heavy with the seductive scent of honeysuckle
the buzzing of the bees, within the flower's and leave's
and the shimmering trill, of a lone robin.

Raindrops upon the willow tree glisten like diamond's
in the dappled sunlight.
I succumb and reach to taste the nectar of nature's essence.
Rain upon my skin, blood surging with an inner fire
the sky aglow with a passion of its own!

And on I dance entranced within the rain.
Rainbow high, with birds flashing by
beneath the fiery sky.
We are caught within nature's rhythm, on this magical
arcadian, midsummer's day!
