Beltane Kiss -o- by Dianne

What bright sung song I bring to you
Of birth Beltane in sticks and bells
Ribbons wish brings promise of summer kisses
So six merry fools dance life into you.
What gift I give of mounting sap dark root.
In moon soaked oak against the stars.
Brings dark faces traced in oak leaves peer.
Watch sweet lovers entwine as ivy kissed fingers.
What fearful demons our mind-set etched.
Watched in church roof-boss so slowly crept.
Tangled greenwood heart so leafy crept.
Cast away winters steel cold, burst forth spring blossom.
For you my lovers soul a Beltane kiss i wish for you.
