Quiggins Centre opened in 1988 in School Lane in Liverpool and soon became known for small local music, art, crafts, antiques, fashion and alternative shopping. It has become a landmark not only for the residents of Liverpool but for other people visiting the city. It's an intriguing and magickal place upon which Liverpool City Council has prospered, not only the in sense of revenue but also on its advocacy and advertisement of being a historic and multicultural City. I personally am very saddened to hear the plans to close the local businesses within it, demolish the building and provide space/accommodate for other larger retailers in the city centre. If you agree please say so and fill in this form.
